I got busy this weekend after I finished the hat and by Monday I had myself a pair of mittens to match my cozy cabled hat. I still have 2 balls of the Alpaca Silk left....what to do???? A scarf? Hummm....
I love them, they are very warm but my only beef is that the Alpaca Silk is very silky and my hand tends to move around alot. I even did them on a smaller needle size them the pattern required. Today I got smart and wore a pair of magic gloves underneath them and that seems to elimate the moving around on the hand and now they're extra warm.
I also have a sneakpeak of the Seamless Yoked Baby Sweater too, I'm not quite finished it yet, but soon. :-)

The mittens and the hat look great, I think a scarf is definitely in order... just hope two ballls is enough.. maybe a skinny scarf?
Yes, go for the scarf. Even a skinny one. OR you could do a short keyhole type scarf that's a bit wider. :)
